As a descendant of settlers, I wish to acknowledge, with humility, that the lands on which I live are the traditional homelands of the Esquimalt, Songhees, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Taeycum, Pauquachin and Malahat Nations.
I strive in both my personal and professional life to be an agent of healing and reconciliation, within the context of historical injuries and injustices which continue to have ongoing impacts.
